PM Shehbaz Welcomes Ceasefire in Gaza, Urges Humanitarian Aid

Islamabad: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has expressed support for the newly announced ceasefire in Gaza, highlighting the importance of restoring humanitarian aid to the region.

According to a statement by Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the Prime Minister acknowledged the efforts of Qatar, Saudi Arabia, the United States, Egypt, and other international partners in facilitating the ceasefire agreement. He emphasized the need for immediate humanitarian assistance in Gaza and other conflict-affected areas.

The Prime Minister underscored the significance of honoring the ceasefire in both letter and spirit. He reiterated Pakistan’s solidarity with the Palestinian people and recognized the sacrifices of those affected by the conflict over the years.

Additionally, Prime Minister Sharif reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to a two-state solution in line with United Nations resolutions, emphasizing the country’s stance on the Israeli-Palestinian issue.
