New york: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has welcomed US President Donald Trump’s peace overtures made during his address to the 80th session of the UN General Assembly today. Talking to newsmen in New York, Shehbaz Sharif emphasized Donald Trump’s efforts in promoting peace, highlighting his significant role in resolving conflicts, including the recent cessation of hostilities between India and Pakistan in May this year.

According to Radio Pakistan, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif praised President Trump as a “man of peace” and acknowledged his key contributions to ending wars. The Prime Minister expressed his optimism about the future of international relations and underscored the importance of collaborative efforts in maintaining global peace.
