PM Vows to Bring Asjad Mahmood’s Attackers to Justice

Islamabad: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif visited the residence of President of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (F) Maulana Fazal-ur-Rehman in Islamabad on Friday. During the meeting, the Prime Minister expressed deep concern over the attack and failed attempt of kidnapping of Asjad Mehmood, the younger son of Maulana Fazal-ur-Rehman. He also inquired about his well-being.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Prime Minister issued orders to bring those elements involved in this futile attack to justice as soon as possible. Meanwhile, matters pertaining to the overall political situation of the country were also discussed in the meeting.

Planning Minister Ahsan Iqbal, Minister for Law and Justice Azam Nazir Tarar, Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar, and Advisor to the Prime Minister on Political Affairs Rana Sanaullah were also present on this occasion.
