PM Youth Programme and UN Women Pakistan Unite to Empower Young Women

Islamabad: Prime Minister’s Youth Programme and UN Women Pakistan have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to promote empowerment, leadership, and meaningful participation of young women in Pakistan.

According to Radio Pakistan, the MoU was signed during a meeting between Chairman of the Prime Minister’s Youth Programme Rana Mashhood Ahmad Khan and UN Women Pakistan Country Representative Jamshed Kazi in Islamabad today. This collaboration aims to enhance cooperation through technical collaboration, knowledge exchange, and joint initiatives in women’s leadership, youth empowerment, and gender equality.

Under the agreement, young women will be provided with greater opportunities for mentorship, networking, leadership development, and professional exposure. The focus will be on entrepreneurship, employability, and civic participation, enabling young women to take on leadership roles and actively contribute to societal development.
