Islamabad: Dry weather is expected in most parts of the country, while cold in hilly areas during morning and night hours in the next twelve hours. Districts of Punjab are likely to remain under the influence of smog due to the persistent dry weather and atmospheric pollution. Public has been advised to take precautionary measures.
According to Radio Pakistan, the temperature of major cities recorded this morning was: Islamabad twelve degree centigrade, Lahore nineteen, Karachi twenty-two, Peshawar fifteen, Quetta eight, Gilgit four, Murree nine, and Muzaffarabad ten degree centigrade.
In the weather forecast for Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, cold and dry weather is expected in Srinagar, Leh, Pulwama, Anantnag, Shopian, and Baramula, while dry weather is anticipated in Jammu. The temperature recorded this morning in these areas was: Srinagar, Pulwama, and Anantnag at seven degree centigrade, Jammu fifteen, Leh minus-two, and Shopian and Baramula eight degree centigrade.
