President, PM Urge Public to Support Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign

Islamabad: President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif have urged people to fully cooperate with the government for spreading awareness about breast cancer for its early diagnosis and treatment.

According to Radio Pakistan, in their separate messages on International Breast Cancer Awareness Day being observed on Sunday, they said comprehensive measures are being taken to address this growing health concern.

The President reaffirmed the Government’s unwavering commitment to eliminate preventable deaths due to breast cancer through awareness, access, and accountability.

In his statement, the Prime Minister said the Ministry of National Health is working at the rural, regional, and community levels for diagnosis and treatment of the disease.
