PNS Saif in Colombo for participation in joint naval exercise

Pakistan Navy Ship, PNS Saif has arrived at a Port in Colombo, Sri Lanka for participation in joint naval exercise.

According to the ISPR, the visit of a naval ship to Sri Lanka will further strengthen the maritime ties between the two countries.

Upon arrival at the Port, the host naval officers and Pakistani diplomats warmly welcomed the ship of Pakistan Navy.

The Commanding Officer of PNS Saif also held important meetings with the senior officials of Sri Lankan Navy.

During the meeting, issues of mutual interest including promotion of bilateral maritime cooperation were discussed.

Pakistan Navy Ships are regularly deployed for regional maritime patrols with the aim to ensure maritime security and safe movement of ships in the sea.
