Posters of Gratitude to Pakistan Emerge in Srinagar

Srinagar: Posters displaying the words “Thank You Pakistan” and the Pakistani flag appeared in Srinagar and other areas of the Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir today.

According to a statement by Kashmir Media Service, the posters expressed appreciation for Pakistan’s government and people for their solidarity with Kashmiris on February 5. The messages thanked Pakistan for its efforts in raising the Kashmir issue on international platforms.

Observers in Srinagar noted that the posters conveyed the sentiment that freedom is a birthright of Kashmiris. They also indicated Pakistan’s commitment to support Kashmiris and not abandon them in their struggle.

Kashmir Solidarity Day, marked on February 5, has been observed since 1990, when Pakistan’s political leadership collectively expressed solidarity with the people of IIOJK.
