President Approves Summary to Convene Parliament’s Joint Session on Monday

Islamabad: President Asif Ali Zardari has approved the summary to convene a joint session of the Parliament on the 2nd of the next month. This session marks the commencement of each parliamentary year, a tradition that continues under the current administration.

According to Radio Pakistan, President Zardari will deliver his ninth address to the joint session of Parliament. His address is expected to focus on several critical national issues. These include national priorities, democratic stability, constitutional supremacy, and sustainable economic growth. The President will also discuss regional and global developments, emphasizing the nation’s resolve against terrorism and the commitment to completely eliminate terrorism supported by external forces in the country.
