President calls for establishing 50,000 more schools in country

President Dr. Arif Alvi has called for establishing fifty thousand more schools to accommodate out of school children in the country.

He was addressing Convocation 2024 of the Allama Iqbal Open University at Jinnah Convention Center in Islamabad today.

The President said around 45 percent of our children are out of schools. He said that there are 250,000 mosques in the country, which can be utilized to educate the out of school children.

Congratulating graduates of the AIOU, the President said that educated youth can change the fate of the country though their intellect and wise decisions.
