President condoles with French President over killings in terrorist attack

Islamabad, January 08, 2015 (PPI-OT):

“Excellency,

I was deeply distressed at the news of the terrorist attack on the Office of French Magazine Charlie Hebdo in Paris, that resulted in the death of 12 persons and injuries to 11 others.

Pakistan strongly condemns terrorism in all its forms and manifestations. To ensure that the world remains peaceful, there is a need for concerted global actions against terrorism and violent extremism.

On behalf of the Government and people of Pakistan, I would like to convey my deepest condolences to the Government and people of France and the families of the deceased who lost their lives in this terrorist incident. Please accept, Excellency, the assurances of my highest consideration.
