President for increase cooperation among Islamic countries in diverse fields

President Dr. Arif Alvi has emphasized the need of increasing cooperation among Islamic countries in the fields of science, technology and innovation.

He was talking to the administrative delegation of COMSTECH Nobel Festival and Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Pakistan Yerzhan Kistafin in Islamabad on Wednesday.

The President was given a briefing about the aims and objectives of the Nobel Festival in Kazakhstan as its aim is to facilitate access to education and science for everyone.

Dr Arif Alvi was told that Nobel Festival is attended by Nobel laureates, scientists and representatives of international institutions.

Speaking on the occasion, the Kazakh Ambassador welcomed the establishment of direct air link between Pakistan and Kazakhstan and expressed desire to further cooperate with Pakistan in the field of education.
