Ladies and Gentlemen!
It is a privilege for me to preside over this 14th Foundation Day Ceremony of Paediatric Oncology Unit, established by the Child Aid Association, at National Institute of Child Health. I feel pleasure to highlight that the Child Aid Association which is first and unique venture of its kind for poor children suffering from cancer. I feel immense satisfaction to state that it is a noble cause and every Pakistani citizen must contribute in it. I highly appreciate the management of Child Aid Association whose significant effort to contribute, collect and provide the funds has enabled the NICH to provide free medical treatment to the children of poor and deserving families.
I have learned that to celebrate, foundation has invited 100 children along with their parents, half having been discharged. I also admire the services of the supporters and contributors who are also present today. May Almighty Allah bless them with sound health and happiness to all the children under treatment at NICH and those who have been recovered and discharge and also for all the children of our nation.
I would request the Parents of the Children, Supporters and the distinguished gathering to put their hands together and give a clap to pay tribute to all the doctors, nurses, para-medical staff, administration of NICH and especially to the management and entire team of Child Aid Association As Patriotic Pakistanis and responsible citizens, we must all act together and perform their social responsibility, in any form, either volunteer services, providing medicine, medical machinery and equipment, surgical goods, funds, donations, contribution, whatever would be available through our means and resources in order to provide the health and education facilities to the needy and deserving children of our nation.
From the forum of KCCI, I as President, ensure full co-operation and support. With these words, I conclude my speech with a hope and pray that this event will prove successful for which it has been arranged and Almighty Allah may Bless success in all the aims of Child Aid Association.
