President of Belarus and Pakistani Army Chief Discuss Defense Cooperation

Islamabad: The President of the Republic of Belarus, Aleksandr Lukashenko, met with General Syed Asim Munir, Chief of Army Staff of Pakistan, in Islamabad. The talks focused on mutual interests, defense cooperation, and regional security.

According to Inter Services Public Relations, the meeting highlighted Pakistan’s appreciation for Belarus’s role in global and regional affairs, with General Munir expressing a desire to enhance bilateral relations. President Lukashenko commended the Pakistan Armed Forces for their efforts in promoting regional peace and their sacrifices in combating terrorism.
