President, PM Condemn Suicide Attack in Swat

Islamabad: President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif have strongly condemned the suicide blast in the Kabal area of Swat District. In their separate statements, they expressed deep grief and sorrow over the loss of precious lives.

According to Radio Pakistan, both leaders prayed for the high ranks of the martyrs in Jannah, fortitude for the bereaved families, and the swift recovery of those injured in the attack. In his statement, the President lauded the sacrifices rendered by the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police and law enforcement agencies. Asif Ali Zardari directed a comprehensive probe into the incident to bring the elements responsible for terrorism to justice.

In his statement, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif directed the concerned authorities to ensure the provision of the best medical facilities to the injured. He reaffirmed the government’s unwavering commitment to continue the fight until the complete elimination of the scourge of terrorism from the country.
