President, PM Reaffirm to Support Vulnerable Communities

Islamabad: President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif have reaffirmed the government’s commitment to address humanitarian challenges and support vulnerable communities. In their separate messages on World Red Cross and Red Crescent Day, they paid tribute to volunteers, staff, and partners of the Pakistan Red Crescent Society for their dedicated humanitarian services.

According to Radio Pakistan, President Asif Ali Zardari stated that the occasion serves as a reminder of the vital role humanitarian workers play in strengthening health systems, responding to emergencies, and assisting those most in need. He urged all stakeholders to renew their commitment to humanity, solidarity, and public service for a safer, healthier, and more inclusive Pakistan.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif praised the Pakistan Red Crescent Society for its contributions in disaster relief, blood supply, healthcare, and community outreach. He emphasized that the government values the organization’s services and remains committed to further strengthening cooperation with it in the future.
