President, PM Strongly Condemn Explosion in Quetta

Quetta: President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif have strongly condemned an explosion in Quetta, which targeted a political gathering of the Balochistan National Party. The President, in a statement, directed the relevant institutions to launch a comprehensive investigation into the incident and ensure that the perpetrators are brought to justice. He expressed his profound grief and solidarity with the families of those who lost their lives in the attack. In a separate statement, the Prime Minister also condemned the attack in the strongest terms. He expressed his deep sorrow and anguish over the loss of precious lives. The Prime Minister said we will continue the war against terrorism until the complete eradication of this menace.

According to Radio Pakistan, both leaders have shown a united front in tackling the issue of terrorism, ensuring that efforts will be made to prevent such incidents in the future.
