Peshawar: Schools organized events in connection with Defence and Martyrs Day. In Peshawar, different schools organized events in connection with Defence and Martyrs Day.

According to Radio Pakistan, officers and soldiers of Pakistan Army attended the events to encourage the students. The children participated in a flag-hoisting ceremony alongside Pakistan Army and offered collective prayers for the country’s safety and prosperity. Students presented patriotic songs and performed tableaus full of national spirit. An exhibition of small arms was also arranged for the students.
