President, Prime Minister Commend Forces for Eliminating Terrorists in North Waziristan

ISLAMABAD: President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif have praised the security forces for their successful operation that resulted in the killing of six Khwarij militants in the Mir Ali area of North Waziristan.

According to a statement by Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, both leaders paid tribute to Major Hamza Israr and Sepoy Muhammad Naeem, who lost their lives during the confrontation with the terrorists. They recognized the bravery of the officers and jawans involved in the operation.

President Zardari reiterated the commitment to continue operations until all terrorist threats are eradicated, emphasizing the nation’s resolve to defend its sovereignty.

Prime Minister Sharif assured that the sacrifices made by the security personnel would not be in vain, stating that the efforts to eliminate anti-state elements would persist. He reaffirmed that the security forces remain fully engaged in the fight against terrorism.
