President Stresses Effective Governance, Public Welfare in Sindh

Karachi: President Asif Ali Zardari has emphasised the need to ensure effective governance and public welfare in Sindh. He was talking to Sindh Governor Nihal Hashmi and Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah, who called on him in Karachi today.

According to Radio Pakistan, during the meeting, matters relating to the overall political situation were discussed, with particular focus on development projects in Sindh and the provision of improved social services. The President directed that effective coordination be promoted among the government, as well as social, political, and business circles in the province.

He also stressed the importance of enhancing coordination at both national and provincial levels to make public service delivery more effective.
