President Dr. Arif Alvi has emphasized on good governance, precise planning and trade activities for socio-economic development of the country.
Addressing an Awards Distribution Ceremony of the Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industries in Islamabad, he appreciated the business community for playing a pivotal role in the stability of economy.
The President said Pakistan is the fifth biggest country in the world in terms of human resource, which has to be developed. He urged the business community to work for the twenty eight million out-of-school children.
Highlighting the importance of women empowerment, he said no nation can progress without women participation in all fields of life.
Dr Arif Alvi also stressed the need for creating ease of doing business to attract foreign investment.
