President Zardari administers oath to Muhammad Nawaz Sharif as Prime Minister

Islamabad, June 05, 2013 (PPI-OT): President Asif Ali Zardari today administered oath to Muhammad Nawaz Sharif as the country’s new Prime Minister.

The President administered the oath of office to the newly elected Prime Minister at an impressive ceremony at the Aiwan-e-Sadr attended by prominent political leaders from across the divide and high-ranking civil and military personalities.

The oath taking ceremony was also attended by Speaker and Deputy Speaker National Assembly, Chairman Senate, outgoing caretaker Prime Minister, Governors, Chief Ministers, parliamentarians, Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee, services chiefs, members of diplomatic community and senior government officials.
