President Zardari for Broader Pakistan-China Cooperation

Chengdu: President Asif Ali Zardari has emphasized the importance of expanding cooperation between Pakistan and China in political, economic, and cultural fields. During a meeting with Member of the Political Bureau and Secretariat of the Communist Party of China Central Committee and Minister of the Publicity Department of the CPC Central Committee, Li Shulei, he underlined Pakistan’s commitment to deepening people-to-people contacts and public diplomacy.

According to Radio Pakistan, Li Shulei expressed that both he and President Xi Jinping highly value the leadership shown by President Zardari in strengthening the Pakistan-China partnership. He noted that while the world is changing, China and Pakistan will remain iron-clad brothers. Li further commented on the global need for the fragrance of books rather than the smell of gunpowder, emphasizing peace and cultural exchange.
