Provision of Electricity to Remote Areas of Balochistan Government’s Top Priority: CM

Quetta: Chairman of the WAPDA, Muhammad Saeed, met with Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti in Quetta on Saturday. The meeting focused on discussing electrification projects, the supply of electricity from the national grid to Gwadar and other border regions of Balochistan, and the solarization of agricultural tube-well projects.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Chief Minister emphasized that ensuring electricity provision in the remote areas of the province is the government’s top priority. The discussions underscored the importance of enhancing infrastructure to facilitate better access to electricity across Balochistan, aiming to improve living conditions and support agricultural activities through solar-powered solutions.
