President Zardari Reaffirms Commitment to Security of Chinese Nationals in Pakistan

Islamabad: President Asif Ali Zardari visited the Chinese Embassy today to offer condolences and reassure the Chinese community following the recent terrorist attack in Karachi that resulted in the loss of Chinese lives. The president condemned the attack and vowed to enhance security measures for Chinese nationals in Pakistan.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, President Zardari expressed Pakistan’s solidarity with China during his discussion with Chinese Ambassador Jiang Zaidong. He condemned the violent act and emphasized that such incidents would not weaken the strong bilateral ties nurtured over decades. President Zardari reiterated Pakistan’s resolve to ensure the safety and security of all Chinese nationals within its borders, reflecting on their significant contributions to the socio-economic development of the country.
