Karachi: President Asif Ali Zardari has returned to Karachi following a five-day visit to China, where he engaged in key discussions with Chinese officials and attended a significant regional event.
According to a statement by Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, President Zardari met with Chinese President Xi Jinping and Premier Li Qiang during his stay. The meetings focused on strengthening bilateral relations and exploring areas for increased cooperation.
In addition to the high-level talks, President Zardari participated in the opening ceremony of the 9th Asian Winter Games held in Harbin, China. His presence at the event underscored the importance of regional collaboration in sports and cultural exchanges.
The visit culminated in the signing of several Memorandums of Understanding between Pakistan and China. These agreements aim to foster collaboration in sectors deemed vital for the development and prosperity of both nations.
