President Zardari Underlines Need for Political Stability

Lahore: President Asif Ali Zardari has underscored the need for political stability and national consensus for the development of the country. He emphasized this point during a conversation with senior PPP leader Barrister Aamir Hassan in Lahore.

According to Radio Pakistan, President Zardari highlighted that all democratic forces can contribute to making Pakistan prosperous by working together. He urged the adoption of a joint strategy to strengthen the economy.

In a separate meeting with the Incharge of Peoples Labor Bureau, Chaudhry Manzoor Ahmad, President Zardari stated that the government will prioritize the welfare of laborers in the upcoming budget. He noted that societal progress is not possible without providing relief to laborers.
