Pakistan and Luxembourg Commit to Enhancing Bilateral Relations

Luxembourg: Pakistan’s Ambassador to the European Union, Belgium, and Luxembourg, Rahim Hayat Qureshi, presented his credentials to Crown Prince Guillaume at a ceremony held at the royal palace of Luxembourg. During the meeting, the Ambassador conveyed greetings from President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, expressing a desire to bolster bilateral relations with Luxembourg.

According to Radio Pakistan, the discussion between Ambassador Qureshi and Prince Guillaume encompassed areas of mutual interest, including economic cooperation and the potential for strengthening bilateral ties. Prince Guillaume expressed satisfaction with the existing relationship between the two countries and welcomed the Ambassador warmly.

The conversation also touched upon recent developments in South Asia, with the Ambassador briefing the Prince about Indian actions and the unilateral suspension of the Indus Waters Treaty. Prince Guillaume expressed hope that the ceasefire between India and Pakistan would continue to hold, emphasizing the importance of peace in the region.
