Islamabad, March 09, 2023 (PPI-OT): Prime Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has approved immediate release of 26,666 metric tonnes of wheat to Gilgit-Baltistan for two months. According to a notification issued by the Prime Minister office, Shehbaz Sharif also directed the Finance Division to allocate 2.5 billion rupees for Gilgit Baltistan to meet urgent requirement of the region.
The Prime Minister further directed Ministry of Kashmir Affairs to submit a comprehensive and sustainable plan for price rationalization in consultation with all stakeholders for consideration of Economic Coordination Committee within three days.
