Prime Minister approves reduction in prices of petroleum products

Islamabad, March 31, 2014 (PPI-OT): Finance Minister Muhammad Ishaq Dar met the Prime Minister on Saturday and apprised the PM regarding economic situation of the country. During the meeting Finance Minister apprised the PM that since dollar exchange rate against Pak Rupee is hovering around 98, therefore, imports would receive positive impetus.

Keeping in view these factors, the Prime Minister directed to pass on the benefits of currency stabilization to common man.

PM Muhammad Nawaz Sharif has approved reduction in prices of petroleum products, effective 1st April, 2014 as follows:-
