Prime Minister arrives in London for Gallipoli Campaign Commemoration ceremony

London, April 24, 2015 (PPI-OT): Prime Minister of Pakistan, Muhammad Nawaz Sharif arrived in London today at the invitation of British Prime Minister, David Cameron. The Prime Minister, during the course of his visit, will participate in the National Commemoration of the Centenary of Gallipoli Campaign and ANZAC Day where he will interact with other participating leaders and dignitaries.

The Prime Minister will also hold official talks on bilateral, regional and global issues with his British counterpart. He is also expected to meet British leaders and business executives during this visit. The Prime Minister was received by Representative of the British Government Ambassador Nicholas Jarrold and H.E. Syed Ibne Abbas, Pakistan High Commissioner to the UK along with the officials of the High Commission.

On arrival in London, the Prime Minister spoke to the Pakistani media and briefed them about his visit to Saudi Arabai. He also updated the media on the Chinese President’s recent visit to Pakistan and the Pakistan-China Economic Corridor. The Prime Minister said that economy has been put on track now and the Chinese investment worth $46 billion would usher in a new era of progress and development in Pakistan.
