Islamabad, The funeral prayer for Constable Muhammad Tufail of the Islamabad Police was held at Police Lines Headquarters, where senior officers and a large contingent of police personnel paid their respects. Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Headquarters, Dr. Syed Mustafa Tanveer, along with other senior officers, participated in the solemn ceremony.
According to Islamabad Capital Police, the event saw a smartly turned-out contingent present a guard of honour. Police officers shouldered the coffin before sending the body to Tufail’s native town. DIG Tanveer expressed condolences to the bereaved family, affirming the department’s commitment to support them comprehensively.
DIG Tanveer reiterated the force’s dedication to its members, emphasizing the importance of supporting the families of all officers and personnel. He assured that the police force would take all necessary steps to look after the family of the deceased.
