Prime Minister grieved over loss of lives in bomb blasts in Quetta

Islamabad, January 11, 2013 (PPI-OT): Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf has strongly condemned the bomb blasts in Quetta this evening resulting in loss of precious lives including personnel of law enforcement agencies a cameraman of private TV channel and rescue volunteers.

The Prime Minister while expressing his heartfelt condolences and sympathies with the bereaved families reiterated the government’s resolve to stamp out the menace of militancy and terrorism from the country in its all shapes and manifestations. He said that such cowardly acts would not deter the government from fighting the menace of terrorism.

The Prime Minister said that the perpetrators of these blasts are anti-state elements who were bent upon to destabilize the country. They have no regard for sanctity of human lives, he added.

The Prime Minister prayed to Almighty Allah to rest the departed souls in eternal peace and give strength to the bereaved families to bear this irreparable loss with equanimity.

He directed to the concerned authorities to provide best medical treatment to the injured and prayed for their speedy recovery.
