Islamabad: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has highlighted the peaceful and harmonious observance of Youm-e-Ashur throughout Pakistan. In his message, the Prime Minister underscored the significance of the day, emphasizing its deep-rooted importance in the Islamic calendar.

According to Radio Pakistan, Shehbaz Sharif took to the social media platform X to share his reflections as the Day of Ashura concluded. He expressed profound respect for the sacrifice of Hazrat Imam Hussain (Razi Allahu Ta’ala Anhu) and the martyrs of Karbala. The Prime Minister remarked that their steadfast commitment to truth, justice, and human dignity continues to serve as a perpetual source of inspiration for people worldwide.
