Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif Pledges to Combat Terrorism in Wake of Mastung Attack

Islamabad: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has expressed sorrow over the martyrdom of police personnel in a terrorist attack on a police mobile unit in the Mastung district of Balochistan. In a statement, he directed that the injured be provided immediate medical treatment on a priority basis.

According to Radio Pakistan, Prime Minister Sharif emphasized that the nefarious designs of terrorists will be thwarted. He reaffirmed his firm commitment to eradicate terrorism from the country, underscoring the government’s resolve in tackling such threats.

The attack, perpetrated by Fitna-al-Hindustan terrorists, resulted in the martyrdom of Acting DSP Inspector Abdul Razaq and Constable Raza Muhammad. Constable Taj Muhammad and Constable Khursheed Ahmed sustained injuries when the terrorists opened fire on their vehicle in the Chutu area of Mastung on Friday.
