New York: In a significant bilateral meeting during the 79th United Nations General Assembly, Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif of Pakistan and Crown Prince His Highness Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Mubarak Al-Sabah of Kuwait discussed strengthening the longstanding relations between their nations. The leaders affirmed their commitment to enhance cooperation across various sectors, including political, economic, defense, and people-to-people exchanges.

According to Press Information Department, the meeting highlighted Pakistan’s intent to deepen economic ties with Kuwait through the Special Investment Facilitation Cell, aiming for mutually beneficial investments. Both leaders agreed to work closely on bilateral, regional, and global issues of joint interest, reinforcing the brotherly relationship that has existed between Pakistan and Kuwait.

The discussions also underscored the importance of ongoing collaboration in key areas such as defense and economics, promising a future of increased partnership and shared benefits for both countries.
