Process of revival of PSMs will be kept transparent and competitive: Dawood

Advisor to Prime Minister on Commerce Abdul Razak Dawood says the process of revival of Pakistan Steel Mills will be kept transparent and competitive.

He said this while chairing a meeting in Islamabad today on revival of Pakistan Steel Mills.

Advisor on Commerce said government wants survival of this plant on fast track basis. He said government wants to run Steel Mills with the cooperation of private sector.

He said an advisor for the privatization of PSM will also be appointed soon.

The meeting was also attended by officials from Russian, Chinese and Pakistani companies interested to get the company on lease.

Abdul Razak Dawood said the companies interested in lease can visit the PSM.
