Punjab: Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has said that the progress of the rural economy is essential for the country’s development. In her message on World Rural Development Day, she emphasized the significant contributions made by the rural population to Pakistan’s overall progress.

According to Radio Pakistan, Maryam Nawaz lauded the key role being played by the rural population in enhancing the nation’s development. She reiterated the government’s commitment to empower the rural population through means such as education, skills development, and the creation of sustainable employment opportunities.
