Sindh Government and IFC to Collaborate on Health and Economic Development

Karachi: The Sindh Government and the International Finance Corporation (IFC) have reached an agreement to enhance their cooperation in several key sectors, including health, social protection, and economic development. This strategic partnership was solidified during a meeting in Karachi, where a delegation from the IFC, led by Pakistan Division Director Simon Andrews, engaged in discussions with Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah.

According to Radio Pakistan, Chief Minister Shah extended an invitation to the IFC to collaborate on creating a comprehensive nursing education model for the province. He emphasized the Sindh Government’s ongoing efforts to boost renewable energy production, increase farmers’ income, and improve health and education services throughout the region. This agreement marks a significant step towards fostering sustainable development and economic growth in Sindh.
