Srinagar: Renowned businessman and philanthropist, Khwaja Ghulam Qadir Kawoosa, has passed away, triggering a wave of mourning among the community and business circles in Srinagar. His death was commemorated with funeral prayers at the historic Jamia Masjid Srinagar, attended by officials of the Anjuman Auqaf Jamia Masjid and prominent local figures.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the head of the Anjuman Auqaf Jamia Masjid, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, issued a statement in Srinagar expressing profound grief over Kawoosa’s demise.
