Protesters seek whereabouts of missing teacher

Srinagar, May 18, 2019 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, residents of Mantrigam area in Bandipora district, today, held a protest demonstration, seeking whereabouts of a missing teacher. 29-year-old Mushtaq Ahmad Lone of Shiekhpora, Mantrigan, has been missing for the past six days.

The protesters including the family members of the missing teacher asked the police to speed up the efforts to trace him. As per his relatives, Mushtaq Ahmad Lone left home for duty at Government Higher Secondary School Chuntimulla Arin, Bandipora, but has not returned home till date.

“He left home as usual for duty but didn’t return. We contacted all our relatives and friends but he could not be located,” said Masood Ahmed, a relative of Mushtaq Lone. The family has lodged missing report with police station, Pethkoot.
