Provision of Quality Education Foremost Priority: Mohsin Bukhari

Islamabad: Provision of quality education has been identified as the foremost priority by Professor Syed Mohsin Raza Bukhari, Deputy Director of the Directorate of Public Instruction (Colleges), Punjab. In an exclusive interview on International Literacy Day, Bukhari emphasized the department’s commitment to enhancing the educational landscape.

According to Radio Pakistan, Bukhari outlined several initiatives aimed at reforming the higher education sector. These include increasing the number of qualified faculty members, strengthening the quality assessment system, and aligning academic programs with market demands to boost employment prospects for graduates.

Bukhari also highlighted the importance of increasing enrollment and ensuring equitable access to education across all income groups, marginalized communities, and women. Additionally, he stressed the need to provide necessary facilities for students from remote areas, indicating these measures are key priorities of the department’s strategy to improve the educational framework.
