PSX Updates Investor Awareness Guide to Reflect Regulatory Changes

Karachi: In an effort to enhance transparency and investor education in Pakistan’s securities market, the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) has announced the release of an updated ‘Investor Awareness Guide.’ This guide, available in both English and Urdu, is designed to inform investors about their rights and obligations when trading.

According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the updated guide comes as a response to significant regulatory changes and technological advancements in the securities market. Initially released on April 27, 2017, the guide has now been revised to better align with current practices and ensure that investors are well-informed.

PSX has made it mandatory for all certificate holders to distribute the revised guide to their customers. This includes placing the guide in a prominent location on their official websites, making it visibly available at office receptions, and providing it to all new customers at the time of account opening.

The updated guide, detailed in PSX Notice No. PSX/N-2671, is also accessible directly from the PSX website, ensuring that all market participants can easily access this critical information.
