PTCL and Huawei Bring 5G-Ready Connectivity to Islamabad’s Sukh Chayn Residence

Karachi: PTCL Group, in partnership with Huawei, has introduced advanced connectivity solutions at Sukh Chayn Residence in Islamabad, marking a significant milestone in smart living. The collaboration integrates 5G Ready Digital Indoor System (DIS) Lampsite and high-speed Fiber-To-The-Home (FTTH) technology, setting a new benchmark for digital lifestyles in the region.

The newly deployed DIS technology represents a major advancement over traditional Distributed Antenna Systems. Unlike its predecessor, DIS offers digital signals through an active infrastructure, ensuring better coverage and minimal interference. This innovation provides a seamless user experience, particularly in high-rise buildings, without compromising the aesthetic of the residential complex.

Asif Ahmed, Group Chief Business Solution Officer at PTCL & Ufone 4G, emphasized the significance of this partnership in solidifying PTCL Group’s leadership in business solutions. He highlighted the project as a reflection of PTCL’s vision for future connectivity in Pakistan, aiming to transform living experiences and promote sustainable growth.

Muhammad Saleh Azeem, CEO of Sukh Chayn Residence, expressed pride in being the first 5G-ready residential complex. He underscored the commitment to meeting residents’ needs and establishing Sukh Chayn as a forward-thinking housing brand.

Michael Che, Managing Director Carrier Business at Huawei, expressed enthusiasm for introducing Huawei’s 5G ready DIS technology in Pakistan. He noted that this would enhance mobile broadband connectivity for residential areas and position PTCL as a leading internet provider in the country.

This initiative adds a unique element to PTCL Group’s existing FTTH partnerships, reinforcing its status as a preferred telecom partner for prominent brands in Pakistan.
