Karachi: In a recent correction to an earlier announcement, the Public Service Commission Sindh has made significant changes to the list of successful candidates for various commissioned posts. The modifications primarily involve rural candidates being declared successful in place of some urban candidates from the differently abled female quota, owing to the unavailability of posts.
According to Public Service Commission Sindh, the changes affect candidates who were previously announced as successful in a press release dated July 12, 2024. The revision now includes rural candidates Shahnaz, Shumaila Iqbal, Medeeha, and Saba as having successfully passed, while previous candidates such as Saima, Unaiza Ghazali, Nadia Saeed, and Asma Khuho from urban domiciles have been marked as unsuccessful due to post allocation issues outlined in advertisement No.05/2023 dated April 10, 2023.
This corrigendum does not guarantee the appointment of the newly successful candidates but rectifies the record to reflect the current available positions as per the specified quotas. The commission has also reserved the right to further modify or correct the results if additional discrepancies are found. Detailed results and updates can be accessed on the SPSC’s official website.
