PUC Chairman Urges Pilgrims to Follow Saudi Laws for Hajj, Umrah

Islamabad: Chairman of the Pakistan Ulema Council, Hafiz Tahir Ashrafi, has emphasized the importance of adhering to Saudi laws for those undertaking the Hajj and Umrah pilgrimages.

According to Radio Pakistan, Hafiz Tahir Ashrafi expressed his deep regret over a recent incident involving a woman who assaulted a Saudi official. He described the act as extremely unfortunate and underscored the necessity for all pilgrims to respect the legal framework of the host nation.

Tahir Ashrafi further stated that the Saudi government’s decision to take action against individuals who breach their laws is justified. He urged all pilgrims to be mindful of their conduct and to ensure that their actions do not tarnish the sanctity of the pilgrimage or the reputation of their home countries.
