Punjab CM Directs Authorities to Lower Roti Prices Across Province

Lahore: Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has instructed authorities to reduce the price of roti throughout the province, following a recent decrease in flour prices. During a meeting focused on commodity prices in Lahore, she tasked the Price Control Department with immediately revising roti rates to ensure that the benefits of reduced flour costs reach the general populace.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Chief Minister expressed her determination to lower the cost of bread to its minimum, highlighting the disproportionate impact of food inflation on the poorer segments of society. She underscored the urgent need to address this issue and reaffirmed her commitment to shielding vulnerable communities from the financial strain caused by rising food costs.
