Punjab CM Maryam Nawaz Attends COP30 Conference in Brazil

Brazil: Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz is currently in Brazil to participate in the World COP30 Conference. She is set to inaugurate the Pakistan Pavilion and deliver an address during the event.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Chief Minister is accompanied by Senior Punjab Minister Marriyum Aurangzeb, Education Minister Rana Sikandar, and Local Government Minister Zeeshan Rafique. In her address, Maryam Nawaz plans to emphasize Punjab’s vision for environmental improvement and the initiatives being implemented to achieve this goal.

Maryam Nawaz will discuss her vision for a climate-resilient Punjab, focusing on electric vehicles and the protection of forests and wildlife. Additionally, the Chief Minister is scheduled to meet with world leaders, heads of international environmental institutions, and experts during her visit.
