Punjab CM Orders Strict Security, Best Arrangements for Muharram

Islamabad: Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has directed the authorities to ensure the best arrangements and strict security measures across the province during Muharram, especially Ashura. In a directive issued today, she emphasized the need for a comprehensive security plan to maintain law and order during the sacred period.

According to Radio Pakistan, Maryam Nawaz stated that Rescue 1122 services, field hospitals, and mobile clinics will remain operational round the clock during Muharram. This is to ensure that immediate medical assistance and emergency services are readily available to the public.

Additionally, she highlighted that QR code panic button facilities are being provided at four thousand seven Imambargahs across Punjab. This initiative is aimed at facilitating prompt assistance in emergency situations, thereby enhancing the safety and security of the attendees during the religious observances.
