Azerbaijan FM Extends Congratulations to Pakistan on US-Iran MoU

Islamabad: Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar received a telephone call from Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan, Jeyhun Bayramov. During the conversation, Bayramov congratulated him on the signing of the Islamabad Memorandum of Understanding between the United States and Iran, which Pakistan endorsed as a mediator.

According to Radio Pakistan, Bayramov appreciated Pakistan’s sincere and sustained diplomatic efforts as a mediator that contributed to this important development. Both sides noted this positive development as an important step towards lasting peace and stability in the region, as well as towards strengthening confidence in the global economic outlook.
